WELCOME HOME
You don’t have to feel ready.
Maybe you found your way here because life feels heavy.
Maybe something has changed.
Maybe you’ve lost someone. A relationship. A version of your life you thought would always be there.
Maybe nothing dramatic has happened at all.
Maybe you’re simply tired.
Tired of second-guessing yourself.
Tired of everyone else’s opinions.
Tired of wondering whether you’re doing any of this right.
Maybe fear and insecurity have gotten so fucking loud that somewhere along the way, you stopped being able to hear yourself.
You don’t have to figure that out before you begin.
You can just arrive.
There is peace to be found here.
There is a place for you here.
And you don’t have to earn either one.
Welcome home.
I’m Not Here to Tell You Who You Are
I don’t have the answer to your life.
And honestly, I don’t want that job. 😂
I don’t know what your next decision should be.
I don’t know how long your grief should last, what you should release, whether you should stay or go, or what your life is supposed to look like from here.
You do.
Maybe you can’t hear that knowing right now.
That’s okay.
I can hold the space while you begin listening again.
We can slow down.
We can notice.
We can sit with what’s here without immediately trying to fix it.
Because I don’t want to convince you that you’re ready.
I want to hold enough space for you to realize that you are.
Start by Looking Outside
This might seem almost too simple.
Good.
I believe we’ve made healing complicated enough.
Go outside.
Put your feet on the ground.
Look up.
Breathe.
Notice what’s around you.
That’s where this began for me.
Not with some grand revelation.
With noticing.
And the more I paid attention to Mother Nature, the more I began seeing something I desperately needed to see:
She can do hard things.
Look at the Tree
In fall, a tree lets go.
Leaf after leaf.
Eventually, it can stand completely bare.
If you looked at that tree without understanding seasons, you might think it was dead.
But it isn’t failing.
It’s in a season.
Winter doesn't mean the tree has forgotten how to grow.
And it doesn't force spring.
It rests.
It waits.
And eventually, new life appears.
Not last year’s leaves.
New ones.
Maybe there’s something in that for us.
You don’t have to force your spring either.
Look at the Ocean
Then there’s the tide.
At low tide, everything changes.
Things that were underwater become exposed. The shoreline can look dry, empty, even desolate in places.
But low tide doesn’t mean the ocean has abandoned the shore.
The tide returns.
And it may return to a shoreline that has changed.
That matters.
Because renewal doesn’t always mean getting back what we had.
Sometimes life doesn’t return to what it was.
Sometimes we don’t either.
Renewal can look different.
Renewal Can Be the Return of Trust in Yourself
For a long time, I thought strength meant being able to handle everything.
I was the fixer.
The helper.
The person people called when something went wrong.
Then life handed me things I couldn’t fix.
And fear and insecurity became louder than my own voice.
Mother Nature helped me begin hearing myself again.
Not because she fixed anything.
She didn’t.
I started noticing her cycles.
Her resilience.
Her ability to move through difficult seasons without needing them to be anything other than what they were.
And eventually, I started seeing myself in her.
Mother Nature can do hard things.
And slowly:
Maybe I can too.
Look Closer
That’s what I’m inviting you to do with Welcome Home.
Not become someone new.
Look closer at the person who is already here.
Notice Mother Nature.
Notice your breath.
Notice your body.
Notice your feelings.
Notice where you feel peace.
Notice what you need.
Notice what you’ve already survived.
Notice the tiny ways you’ve protected yourself.
Notice the times you knew something before you could explain why.
Notice the decisions you made when nobody could make them for you.
Notice the fact that somehow, through every single thing that brought you here—
you’re still here.
That matters.
You Deserve to Be Seen
Maybe you’ve spent years seeing everyone else.
Their needs.
Their feelings.
Their potential.
Their pain.
Their strength.
Their goodness.
Welcome Home asks something different.
What happens when you begin seeing yourself that way too?
Not through comparison.
Not through everything you think you should have accomplished by now.
Not through someone else’s timeline.
Just you.
Your feelings.
Your needs.
Your boundaries.
Your joy.
Your exhaustion.
Your intuition.
Your strength.
You deserve to be seen too.
And that begins with learning to see yourself.
Your Strength Might Not Look Like Strength
Maybe strength was getting out of bed.
Maybe it was finally saying no.
Maybe it was asking someone for help.
Maybe it was leaving.
Maybe it was staying.
Maybe it was resting.
Maybe it was crying.
Maybe it was admitting:
I have no fucking idea what I’m doing right now.
Maybe it was simply making it through a season you once couldn't imagine surviving.
We spend so much time looking for evidence that we aren’t enough that we can completely miss the evidence that says otherwise.
So let’s look again.
You may already be stronger than you think.
And Maybe You Can Trust Yourself Again
Self-trust doesn’t mean fear disappears.
It doesn’t mean you’ll never second-guess yourself.
And it definitely doesn’t mean every decision you make will turn out perfectly.
It means fear is no longer the only voice with a microphone.
You begin asking:
What do I think?
What am I feeling?
Where do I feel peace?
What do I already know?
You can listen to people you love.
You can ask for support.
You can learn from teachers, therapists, friends and community.
You can change your mind.
You can pivot.
And through all of it, you can remain connected to yourself.
You don’t have to hand someone else authority over your life in order to receive their love.
Maybe This Is Self-Freedom
The freedom to sit with yourself without immediately trying to escape yourself.
The freedom to make a decision without asking ten people whether it was the right one.
The freedom to have boundaries.
The freedom to change.
The freedom to rest.
The freedom to trust your own timing.
The freedom to be in winter while someone else is blooming.
The freedom to let the tide be out without panicking that it will never return.
And perhaps, eventually, the freedom to know:
I am the person I can count on.
That doesn’t mean you don’t need people.
God, no.
We need each other.
We need people at our table.
We need someone who can sit beside us when life gets fucking hard.
But there is something incredibly powerful about discovering:
I can be there for myself too.
That’s What Welcome Home Is
Welcome Home is a gentle seven-day introduction to the Practice of Noticing.
No catching up.
No perfect way to do it.
No gold stars. 😂
No requirement to have some profound spiritual experience beside a tree.
You’ll simply begin practicing what Mother Nature taught me:
Slow down.
Become present.
Notice what is already here.
And somewhere in that noticing, you may begin seeing something else.
You.
Not the version you think you’re supposed to be.
The person who is here now.
The person who has already survived winters.
The person who has stood through low tides.
The person who may still be afraid.
The person who is still learning.
The person who is still here.
You Don’t Have to Feel Ready
If you’re standing at the doorway thinking:
I don’t know if I’m ready for this.
That’s okay.
You don’t have to decide that today.
I can hold the space while you figure it out.
And maybe somewhere along the way, you’ll realize:
You were more ready than you thought.
Not because I told you.
Because you saw it for yourself.
Maybe you’ll begin to see your strength.
Maybe self-doubt won’t always be the first voice you hear.
Maybe you’ll sit quietly with yourself and discover that your own company can feel safe.
Maybe you’ll begin trusting yourself again.
Maybe you’ll find a little more peace.
Maybe you'll understand that you deserve to be seen.
And maybe one day you’ll look at the season you’re standing in and know:
Spring will come again.
The tide will return.
I can do hard things.
Not because everything will return to the way it was.
But because you can trust yourself to meet what comes next.
Come as you are.
There’s nothing to prove here.
Nothing to perform.
Nothing you have to become before you belong.
I’ll hold the space.
You do the noticing.
And together, we’ll see what you discover.
Welcome home.
Come sit with us.
You already belong. Join our private Facebook community when you’re ready.
